The Bosch SDS-plus® Bulldog™ Xtreme Rotary Hammer Bit provides 4X life in concrete with rebar, due to its 100% full-carbide tip design and proprietary diffusion-bonding technology. Diffusion bonding’s high-heat, high-pressure solid-state welding produces an incredibly strong bond. In internal tests, these bits delivered 4X life in concrete with rebar than a standard SDS-plus® bit. The Bulldog™ Xtreme bit provides 25% more holes per charge, with an upgraded variable flute design – four flutes transition to two flutes for fast dust removal. Its centric conical tip results in rounder holes for precision anchoring, and it has a wear mark that helps to assure accuracy of the hole.

Other Details
Centering tip – ideal for drilling anchoring holes to enhance the precision of hole placement
Four-cutter full head carbide design – delivers up to 4X life in concrete with rebar (vs Hawera® SDS-plus® two-cutter concrete drill bit)
Four-cutter head – provides four cutting edges to hit rebar, to help prevent the bit from getting stuck
Full head carbide – improves strength of the bit tip, reducing breakage upon hitting rebar
Integrated wear mark – indicates when the bit has been fully worn
Variable (4-2-2) flute design – aggressively pulls dust away from hole to reduce heat build up, providing more holes per battery charge (compared to standard four-flute design)
