When safety matters, choose the OLFA SK-8 Fully Automatic Self-Retracting Safety Knife. This knife delivers secure cutting in a comfortable and durable handle. The aluminum nose protects the knife from daily wear-and-tear, while the fiberglass-reinforced body adds rugged durability. This knife is lightweight and comfortable for all day use. The large, textured trigger makes activation easy. The spring-activated blade automatically retracts when cutting is paused or stopped, even if the trigger is still engaged. This ensures safe cutting in any environment.
This knife comes preloaded with an OLFA exclusive Dual-Edge Safety Blade with 90° Edge for unmatched sharpness and edge retention. Blades can safely be replaced with the touch of a button, without the need for any additional tools. A simple flip of the blade changes the tool from right-handed to left-handed preference.
The lanyard hole at the base of the handle allows for tethering or storage.
Cutting depth: 0.59” / 15mm
For use with: bagged goods, up to 3-ply corrugate, films, foam/polystyrene, layers of foil/paper, tape, and more.
