When safety is vital, select the OLFA SK-9 Semi-Automatic Self-Retracting Safety Knife with Tape Splitter for industrial or construction cutting. This heavy-duty cutter offers protection on the jobsite thanks to the spring-loaded blade that automatically retracts when blade slide is released.
The contoured design of this sturdy ABS plastic handle delivers all-day comfort. The trigger is curved for easy activation and steady cutting. A premium stainless-steel channel fully supports the blade allowing you to cut with confidence - even on the toughest of industrial materials. The handy metal pick at the base of the handle can be used on tape, shrink-wrap, or plastic packaging to help extend the life of the blade. It also can be used for removing staples, opening cans, or prying tough materials. The large loop at the end of the handle allows this tool to be attached to a lanyard or stored on a hook for easy access.
Preloaded with an exclusive Dual-Edge Safety Blade that delivers unmatched sharpness and edge retention. Blade changes are effortless without the need for additional tools. A simple rotation of the blade allows for either right-handed or left-handed cutting preference.
