The smaller the bur diameter is in the area being used, the higher the recommended rotational speed can be.
Recommendations for use 3:
To ensure costeffective use of burrs, use a higher rotational speed and cutting speed. Use burrs with a shank diameter of 1/8" with drives with a power output of 75 to 300 watts.

Very high speeds can cause discoloration on the shank. This does not constitute a safety risk.
