The Ranpro High Visibility Petro-Gard® FR/ARC-Rated Hood is made with 14 oz/yd² low smoke Neoprene on Dupont™ Nomex® material and provides superior, heavy-duty 100% waterproof, abrasion-, puncture-, and tear-resistant protection.
The seams are vulcanized for superior strength to prevent rips and tears and the hood is created with a drawstring and toggle to be able to have a hook-and-loop connection with the Ranpro jacket.
This safety hood meets CSA Z96-15 Class 2 Level 2 and Class 3 Level 2 when worn with hi-vis pants with reflective stripes on legs (J160 400A) and meets CSA Z96-15 Class 3 Level 2 when worn a with Class 2 Level 2 Jacket (P160 041A).
With a TPP of 21.4 cal/cm² and an ARC 3 rating: ATPV 28 cal/cm², EBTAS 45 cal/cm², HAF 90%, the hood meets CGSB 155.20-2017 Workwear for Protection Against Hydrocarbon Flash Fire: FR Rainwear Standard.
